Kingfisher Trail

Observation Hill Trail

Another Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge hiking spot is the Observation Hill Trail. This dog-friendly trail loops through sagebrush uplands, bringing you to a viewing platform at the top of Observation Hill. The trail then follows the tree line along Lake Lowell. There are some hills on the northern side of the loop, but a bench along the trail and at the viewing platform provides a perfect spot for you and your pup to rest.

Wilson Creek Pathway

If you prefer a developed path to run or bike, the Wilson Creek Pathway will be your go-to! Surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery, this trail can be accessed on Sunnyridge Road where there is an entry point just north of the Stoneyridge Subdivision. If you plan to go with friends, be sure to carpool, as parking is limited. Visitors may park North of Stoneyridge Subdivision along Sunnyridge Road or by Wilson Creek Park.

Wilson Creek Trail

Crossing several creeks and winding through vibrant wildflower meadows, the Wilson Creek Trail is located within the Boise National Forest and is one of the best hiking trails in Nampa.
