Dear Friends and Future Visitors,

As Mayor of Nampa, I welcome you to our beautiful corner of the Treasure Valley. Whether you’re visiting family, seeking adventure, or simply looking to explore Idaho, Nampa is more than just a place, it’s our home.

Nestled in one of the fastest-growing areas in the nation, what was once a small railroad town has grown to nearly 125,000 residents. Nampa still holds a special charm that combines the vibrancy of a bustling community with the warmth of small-town hospitality. Here, we treasure our values of family, faith and neighborly support. You’ll find that our community is brimming with friendly faces ready to share a smile and a story.

There’s no shortage of activities to keep you entertained. Downtown Nampa is home to the historic train depot, Third Thursday events (May-October) and the weekly farmer’s markets from April to November. You can enjoy the serene beauty of our parks and pathways or play a few rounds of golf at one of our three golf courses.

Nampa is proud to be home to the Snake River Stampede Rodeo, a thrilling event that has been a cornerstone of our community for over a century. Held at the Ford Idaho Center during the third week of June, this top-10 PRCA-ranked rodeo brings together families and friends for a celebration of tradition and excitement. While you’re at the Ford Idaho Center, be sure to catch a concert at the stunning outdoor amphitheater or witness the magic at the horse park, which welcomes some of the nation’s most prestigious equestrian events.

For history buffs, our nationally recognized Warhawk Air Museum is a must-visit. Dive into the fascinating world of military aviation, tracing our past back to World War I, and don’t miss the new expansion of the Global War on Terror exhibit. It’s an opportunity to experience, discover and remember stories that shaped our nation.
